All about Me & My 5 senses units

We have had a great 2 weeks in Prek 3! We finished our "All About Me" Unit and we started on our "5 Senses" Unit. Enjoy some pics of Activities at school from August 29-September 12.

Everyone has been enjoying showing the class their family flags.

We made paper versions of ourselves.

We practiced fine motor & counting skills in the Toys & Games center

The new bakery center has been a hit!

Playing with letter Ducks & using our sense of touch in the Sensory table was fun!

We made Texture Bears. Some bears were rough & some were soft.

We used our senses of Smell, Taste, Sight, & Touch when we ate warm cookies for snack last Friday!

Today we used our sense of hearing & went on a Listening Walk!

We could hear cars, the 1st graders having PE

We heard Birds, insects, and our feet making crunching sounds when walking on the rocks.

We are also having fun exploring magnets in our sensory table this week.

We love our Buddies!

We love our 4th grade Buddies! Our class has been enjoying getting to know them and sitting with them at Morning meeting. At morning meeting we pray together, say the pledge, find out whats for lunch, and sing a song about Jesus.  The Buddies have done such a great job at making Trinity's youngest students feel welcome and comfortable at their new school. Enjoy some pics of your children with their buddies.

We finished the first full week of school! Your children were busy this week continuing to learn rules routines and names of their friends teachers and 4th grade buddies. Looking for Rainbow Fish!

Hi everyone! Your children are having so much fun at Trinity!  We have been learning about our school and meeting all of our teachers. Today we had to search for our class mascot "Rainbow Fish" All over school. It was a fun way to meet new teachers and visit new places around our school. Take a look at these pics to see all the places that we visited at  Trinity today. 

First we looked on the playground....

After that we took a look in the music room....

And then we ran into Mrs. Pat our new computer teacher in the Computer Lab.

Finally we got to the School Office....
