Art Show 2012

I wanted to thank everyone who came to chapel and the Art Show today! If you did not have a chance to come by today you are more than welcome to take a look at all of our art in our prek 3 hallway next week.
After the art show today we had fun making shaving cream art on our table! Here are some pics from today Enjoy!

Elements of Art

Last week we started learning about Art Elements in preparation for our art show. We talked  about the process of printing and made vertical and horizontal line block prints as well as circle prints with muffin tins. We also talked about the concept of symmetry and made symmetrical butterflies.  This week we have made a hallway mural and we will making art inspired by famous artists. You can see our finished products at the art show this Friday! You are invited to attend Chapel at 8:30 on Friday and may view the art following Chapel.


Also thanks to everyone who came or contributed to the gala it was a huge success! Our last school fundraiser is the quilt raffle this Friday. 

Wheels day and celebrating Spring

     We have made it to the month of April and have been enjoying the nice spring weather at Trinity. On March 30 we had bring your wheels to school day. The children LOVED riding bikes, scooters, tricycles, plasma cars and other wheeled toys on our school parking lot.
   

   
 We also celebrated the week before easter by talking about baby animals that we see in the spring such as baby chicks, baby rabbits, and baby ducks. We made eggshell art and rabbits. We also enjoyed Cheese Ball carrot snacks the day before Easter break! The children loved them!
